“This too shall pass.”
As we await tomorrow’s poll by the Islamic Republic on how many Iranians support their genocidal, anti-Iranian ways, let’s not forget what lies beyond the hashtags, the campaigns and our online activism.
It’s hope. Hope for a liberated Iran. Hope for a country where every exiled dissident can finally come home to. An understanding that revolutions never last, and that whatever atrocities are committed, Iran will always remain and preserve itself. Hope for the future.
We survived the Arabs, the Mongols, the Western empires and internal strife. In the grand scheme of time, 42 years is nothing but a minute. And we’re already seeing an embattled dictatorship unable to sustain itself. Change is coming, and we owe it to ourselves and the generations after us to make sure khomeinism is eradicated.
#NO2IR is spreading like wildfire on social media today, but its pathos lives within every self respecting Iranian in our daily lives. We no longer want to feel crushed under the medieval ruthlessness of the Islamic Republic. We do not want to see our wealth and resources shipped off to the Holy Land to terrorist organisations, or to see our compatriots beaten, tortured and murdered. Regime figures and lobbyists may try to dismiss it as nothing but a Twitter trend, but in reality they know the vast majority of Iran agrees. Whether this dictatorship survives 2021 or not, it can never redeem itself, and the citizens of Iran will never forgive it.
We as a nation will survive the Islamic Republic.
Dear Nioh, I have replied to you on X in the past…spoke with an Iranian on another platform yesterday and I wanted to talk to you about it privately, I have never used DM, do you have to follow me to do that? Please let me know…808 341- 1800. I am a retired therapist and daughter of holocaust survivors…we have to stop this!!! Love, carine corman@yahoo.com
It is embarrassing to see you defending Israel after all knowledge and news circulating.
